Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much does The 90 Day SAT Prescription cost?
The first fourteen days of my program cost $99.95 – if you decide to continue using the program, you’ll be billed $129.95 in three additional installments – once after 14 days, once after 44, and once after 74. If, at any point, you decide that the program is not for you, you can stop further billing and request a refund on all previous charges.
2. How does your guarantee work?
If, after using my program, you don’t feel that it was the most effective, easy-to-follow educational program you’ve ever used, and if your SAT score doesn’t improve by hundreds of points, simply email me at Anthony@TeachYourselfTheSAT.com for a full, no-questions-asked refund. You can learn more about the guarantee here.
3. Does your program really work in 90 days?
Yes – ninety days of intensive study is all you need. You can space the 90 days out over a longer period of time (for instance, you might do 5 days of work per week for 18 weeks), or you can do all 90 days of work in 90 days’ time. So long as you complete all 90 days of work prescribed, your SAT score will improve by hundreds of points. If, after 90 days, you want to improve your score by even more points, you’ll be sent a free follow-up packet with additional exercises and lesson plans and guides on using your higher SAT scores to leverage your college applications.
4. How long do I have access to your program after I use it?
Your access to The 90 Day SAT Prescription is indefinite. The program takes 90 days to complete, but you have up to 720 days after you purchase the program to use it in its entirety. If you need an extension, simply contact support and one will be granted.
5. Will it help to supplement your program with tutoring or classes?
No. In fact, the lessons and strategies taught to you by outside sources might actually prevent The Prescription from working the way it should due to conflicting ideologies and processes. My program is all you need to improve your SAT scores by hundreds of points.
6. Do I need to buy anything in addition to your program?
No. When you place your order for my program, you’ll be shipped the following three books free directly to your door via 2-day shipping.
The Official College Board Guide to the SAT (necessary for actual practice tests)
McGraw Hill’s 12 Practice SATs
These books, in addition to a scientific calculator (the TI-83 is best) are all you need to use my program in its entirety. They’re the same books I use with all my 1-on-1 students to improve their scores by hundreds of points.
7. Does your program cover all three sections of the SAT?
Yes – it covers the Math, Writing, and Critical Reading portions of the SAT, as well as the essay. The program adapts to each student to put the most emphasis on the section which requires the most improvement.
8. What comes with your program?

***If you’re an international buyer, you won’t be shipped the textbooks. Instead, you’l be given a voucher for Amazon.com which will allow you to ship these books to yourself free of charge.
10. Does your program help me prepare for the PSAT as well?
Yes. With the exception of length and the essay, the SAT and the PSAT are identical exams. My Prescription will help you prepare for either test just as effectively. If you’re looking to achieve Merit Scholarship Finalist status, this is an excellent way to do so.
11. When should I start prepping / is my child too young to start?
Your child should start prepping for the SAT immediately. Today. The sooner you begin, the sooner this process is over with, and the more time you have to focus on the other important elements of the college application process. If your child is a freshman in high school, it’s time. He/she has learned more than enough academic material to begin my program, and in many cases, the material he/she learned in middle school is more relevant to SAT math than the things he/she will be learning in high school.
Start as soon as possible. I cannot stress the importance of this point enough. If you only have a short time to prepare for the test, I highly recommend my 30 Day SAT Crash Course.
12. What type of time commitment does your program require?
My program takes 90 days of work (total) to complete. Of these 90 days, 11 days consist solely of full-length SAT practice tests. These practice tests take roughly 4 hours to complete (more if your child can receive extra time). On days when your child is not taking a practice test, he/she will be spending roughly 60-90 minutes total on SAT prep, though the prep will be split up throughout the day. In total, expect this program to take about 160 hours to complete. It is a major time commitment – any minor commitment to SAT prep will result in very minor score improvements.
13. My child has a learning disability. Can he/she still use your program?
My program has a unit specifically devoted to this issue. The 90 Day SAT Prescription teaches you, step-by-step, how to get every advantage possible for your child to level the playing field. Once you’ve attained your special accommodations, your child can use my program to prep exactly the same way as any other student using my program. Because my program is instantly adaptable to all students, it is arguably the most effective method your child can use if he/she has a learning disability.
14. My child is very advanced. Will your program work for him/her?
Yes. The 90 Day SAT Prescription doesn’t contain arbitrary material meant for all students. Instead, The Prescription forces each user to find his or her own areas of weakness, isolate them, and eliminate them. No matter how advanced your child is, he/she will always be focusing on only the most challenging material possible. Every minute spent with The Prescription is spent focusing on the weaknesses and material deficiencies unique to each student using it.
15. What if my child has already had tutoring or used an SAT prep class?
In this case, he/she will be even more primed to use my program. While the program is meant to teach students the SAT “from scratch,” it automatically adapts itself to any level of knowledge and advancement. While the strategies and methods I teach might contradict some of the strategies and methods taught to your child by his/her former tutor/class, ineffective strategies are easy to unlearn, and if your child is using The Prescription after already going through tutoring/classes, the strategies he/she learned are ineffective.
16. Do you have a program for the ACT?
One is on the way. However, I personally believe that the SAT is a much, much more “teachable” test than the ACT. Because the SAT is all about strategy and tactics, and the ACT is all about timing and material knowledge, I find that my SAT students improve much more than my ACT students – commensurately. In other words, I can easily get an SAT student starting in the 70th percentile to a 95th+ percentile score, whereas my ACT students usually go from 70th percentile to 85th percentile. My colleagues in the tutoring and college consulting industries have backed up my suspicions with similar results – the ACT is teachable, but much less so than the SAT.
17. What types of things does your program teach?
In short, my program teaches your child the exact strategies, tactics, and material knowledge necessary to get a perfect or near-perfect SAT score in the correct sequence. This is not just a bunch of random tips and tricks followed by poorly-organized practice problems. Instead, this program starts by teaching students the most powerful, effective overall strategies for each section of the test, then has each user apply these strategies to real testing material on a progressive basis. As students become more skilled with the powerful, overall strategies, they start to learn increasingly specific tactics to further improve their use of these strategies. The program is built on the concepts of meta learning and countless studies on brain science and educational efficacy, and has been designed to use each student’s brain to enhance his/her own results by as much as possible.
19. Where can I use your program?
The Prescription is accessible from any computer, phone, or tablet with internet access. Your child will also need his/her flashcards which he/she will make independently (pre-made flashcards don’t work) and the proper supplemental texts for each day of work, but the program is very portable and can be used at home, at school, or while on vacation.
20. Why is it called “The Prescription?”
When you seek expert advice, you don’t want “suggestions” – you want to know exactly what to do, when, in what order, how, and why. When a doctor gives you advice on curing a sickness, he gives you an exact prescription, and you follow that prescription to the letter so that you can get better. Similarly, my program is not a bunch of “suggestions and tips.” It is the EXACT program you need to get the SAT scores you’re looking for. There’s no “suggestions” here – simply do what I say, and you’ll get unreal SAT scores in no time.
21. What if I don’t have 90 days to prepare for the SAT?
You should complete as many days of my program as you possibly can. If you’re starting this late, I won’t lie to you: you’re at a large disadvantage. You should start prepping for the SAT as soon as possible, and should not have waited this long. However, even 10 days’ exposure to my program will drastically improve your score. Simply use as much as you can before you walk into your test. Ideally, you should push your test date back to make more room for preparation.
If you sign up for my mailing list, you’ll get access to my free report, “why are you taking the SAT so soon?”, which outlines the reasons why you should delay your SAT date until you know you’re going to get the scores you’re looking for. A lot of people pick arbitrary testing dates and stick with them for no real reason, which significantly hurt their chances of getting into the best schools possible.
22. Do I have to do anything as a parent to make this program work, or is my child working alone?
When you purchase The 90 Day SAT Prescription, you’ll be sent my book, Test Prep for Parents, free of charge. However, you don’t need to do anything to help your child get incredible SAT scores. Once he/she has access to The Prescription, he/she has everything necessary for the program to work effectively. My book is simply a supplement – ways that you can enhance your child’s SAT results and college admission prospects.
Rest assured: this program requires no extra tutoring, classes, or outside advisors. Your role is simply to support your child as he/she progresses through the program.
23. Is your program only about the SAT, or about college admissions as well?
The SAT has one, and only one, purpose: to get you into the best college possible. To isolate the SAT from college admissions would be foolish. As a result, my program integrates SAT prep and college admissions strategy, using test scores as part of a larger overall strategy. While The Prescription itself is focused almost entirely on the SAT, the supplementary materials and free bonuses that come with your purchase of the program are full of free meetings, books, guides, and more from the best college consultants and admissions experts in the country, and The Prescription itself forces students to select colleges and refine their search while they study to enhance their chances of admission.
24. I’m nervous about putting my credit card on your order form. Is it really safe to place an order on your website?
All financial transactions related to The 90 Day SAT Prescription are not processed by me personally – they are processed through a triple-secure HTTPS server hosted via Authorize.net, which encrypt and secure your credit card information for hyper-redundancy. No one except for the banks which process your payments will see your personal credit card information. Additionally, you’ll have direct access to the payment processor on your account, access to toll-free support numbers, and will see all transactions posted on your card immediately on your statement.
If you’d like to order by mail via check or credit card, email me at Anthony@TeachYourselfTheSAT.com and I’ll send you instructions on how to do so.
25. Does it matter what country I’m in? Is the sale still in US dollars?
All sales are in US dollars. You can place an order from anywhere in the world so long as you have a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). Since the product is fulfilled entirely online, you won’t need to worry about international shipping or fulfillment.
26. Will you share my information with any third parties?
Never. Your information, including name, address, email, etc. will NEVER be shared or sold to any third parties for any reason, and, it goes without saying, your billing information isn’t even seen by me, just the banks which process your transaction.
