1. Pick Your SAT Prep Program.
When you start your trial of my Teach Yourself the SAT Program, you actually get two programs for the price of one. My 30-Day SAT Crash Course is designed for students studying for last-minute prep. It’s the same program I use with my own last-minute students to accelerate their progress. Best used for students with less than 60 days to prepare. My 60-Day program is a more holistic, long-term course for students who have 60+ days to prepare. When you start your trial, you’ll be sent materials and login information for both programs. 3. Log Into Your SAT CockPit.
Once you receive your materials and read your Quick Start Guide (emailed to you immediately after purchase as a PDF), you’re ready to begin! Once you pick your program, you’ll log into your SAT Cockpit, which looks like this: (An explanation of all the elements are below).
A quick explanation of each element within the cockpit:
A – The “Prescription” – a set of exact assignments which you need to complete each day of the program. So long as you complete all the assignments within your prescription for each day’s work, your score will improve by hundreds of points. You can complete these assignments in sequential order (Day 1 on a Wednesday, Day 2 on a Thursday, etc.) or you can space them out to match your schedule (Day 1 on a Wednesday, Day 2 on Saturday, Day 3 on a Monday, etc.) You just need to complete the assignments. There’n no ambiguity and nothing to “figure out” – I’ve perfected this system after working with hundreds of students one-on-one – these are the exact strategies, tactics, and lessons, and in the EXACT order necessary, to boost your scores. B – The Workbook – My test prep opus – a set of hundreds of multi-media pages of precisely-timed strategies, guides, and more delivered in line with your program. The strategies within have been tested, altered, and perfected for years over the course of my career working with hundreds of 1-on-1 students, and it’s now being released to the public for the first time ever. C – Score entry system – where you’ll keep track of your SAT progress as you work with the program (you’ll see more about this in a moment). 4. Complete Each Day’s Assignment On Your Own Schedule.
Complete each day’s assignments on your own schedule. Just follow the directions and finish everything. When you’re done, your SAT score will be improved by hundreds of points. My program is the essence of simplicity. Whether you use the 30-day or 60-day version, the idea is the same: when you log in, you’ll have a list of assignments for that particular day. Wait until a day when you can commit the time (about 50 minutes/day for the 60-day program, and 80 minutes/day for the 30-day program), then go for it. Exercises don’t need to be completed at once, and days don’t need to be completed sequentially. You could do 1/4 of Day 31 in the morning, 1/4 in the afternoon, and 1/2 at night, then wait until four calendar days later before completing Day 32. So long as you complete all the assignments in my programs as quickly as possible, your SAT score will improve drastically. There are no questions to be asked, and nothing to “figure out.” Just complete all the work in order as quickly as you can and you’ll see results. No schedules to keep, no tutors to meet, and no surprise assignments or elements.

What if your SAT program knew EXACTLY what you needed to study, and how to teach it to you?
Fortunately, that’s no longer a hypothetical question. My program works so well because it’s built around the students using it. Additionally, I pay $1.98 in processing fees for every order placed on my site. The $37.97 you pay for your trial of my program is the exact, to-the-cent amount I pay to fulfill your books and processing charges. It is, in effect, a “free trial” for the program itself. I don’t want to lose money, or become known as “the place to get free SAT textbooks,” but I make no money on your trial.

You can use the program on your own schedule. There are no classroom schedules or tutor timelines to keep. Simply log on from any internet-connected device to get started. The days of work in each program can be spaced out over as many days as you need.

Does Your Program Cover All Three Sections of the Test?
Yes – it covers the Math, Writing, and Critical Reading portions of the SAT, as well as the essay. Additionally, the program adapts to each student to put the most emphasis on the section which requires the most improvement.
Is this program online, or is it mailed to me?
The program is hosted entirely online. However, the program is supplemented by three textbooks that are shipped to your door for free via 2-day shipping as soon as you place your order.*

Does your program help me to prepare for the PSAT as well?
Yes. With the exception of length and the essay, the SAT and the PSAT are identical exams. The program will help you prepare for either test just as effectively. If you’re looking to achieve Merit Scholarship Finalist status, this is an excellent way to do so.
When should I start prepping / is my child too young to start?
Your child should start prepping for the SAT immediately. Today. The sooner you begin, the sooner this process is over with, and the more time you have to focus on the other important elements of the college application process.
If your child is a freshman in high school, it’s time. He/she has learned more than enough academic material to begin my program, and in many cases, the material he/she learned in middle school is more relevant to SAT math than the things he/she will be learning in high school.
Start as soon as possible. If you have very little time left to prepare for the SAT (less than 60 days), then you should use the 30-Day SAT Crash Course (included with your purchase). However, if you do have time, I highly recommend using the 60-Day Prescription (also included with your purchase) , as longer-term prep will always result in larger score improvements.
What type of time commitment does your program require?
This depends on whether you use the 30-Day or 60-Day program (both of which are included with your purchase).
Use the 30-Day program if you have less than 60 days to prepare. Use the 60-Day program if you have more than 60 days.
For the 60-Day program:
Of these 60 days, 7 days consist solely of full-length SAT practice tests. These practice tests take roughly 4 hours to complete (more if your child can receive extra time). On days when your child is not taking a practice test, he/she will be spending roughly 60 minutes total on SAT prep, though the prep will be split up throughout the day. In total, expect this program to take about 100 hours to complete. It is a major time commitment – any minor commitment to SAT prep will result in very minor score improvements.
For the 30-Day program:
Of these 30 days, 5 days consist solely of full-length SAT practice tests. These practice tests take roughly 4 hours to complete (more if your child can receive extra time). On days when your child is not taking a practice test, he/she will be spending roughly 90 minutes total on SAT prep, though the prep will be split up throughout the day. In total, expect this program to take about 60 hours to complete.
My child has a learning disability. Can he/she still use your program?
My program has a unit specifically devoted to this issue, and teaches you, step-by-step, how to get every advantage possible for your child to level the playing field from the first day of the program. Once you’ve attained your special accommodations, your child can use my program to prep exactly the same way as any other student using my program. Because my program is instantly adaptable to all students, it is arguably the most effective method your child can use if he/she has a learning disability.
My child is very advanced. Will your program work for him/her?
Yes. This SAT program doesn’t contain arbitrary material meant for all students. Instead, The program forces each user to find his or her own areas of weakness, isolate them, and eliminate them. No matter how advanced your child is, he/she will always be focusing on only the most challenging material possible. Every minute spent with this program is spent focusing on the weaknesses and material deficiencies unique to each student using it.
What if my child has already had tutoring or used an SAT classroom course?
In this case, he/she will be even more primed to use this program. While the program is meant to teach students the SAT “from scratch,” it automatically adapts itself to any level of knowledge and advancement. While the strategies and methods I teach might contradict some of the strategies and methods taught to your child by his/her former tutor/class, ineffective strategies are easy to unlearn.
